Wednesday has become my least favorite day of the week. I only have one class on Wednesdays...at 2:25 p.m.....for 50 minutes....and I have the apartment to myself all day.... Here's a brief, yet highly accurate, summary of what every Wednesday will look like from here until next semester:
8:00 a.m - wake up. Realize that I don't actually have to be awake. Stare at ceiling for approximately 23.7 minutes. Doze in and out of full consciousness. Wonder for the ump-teenth time what could have possibly made that stain on the ceiling above my bed.
8:45-9:00 a.m. - remove myself from bed and get a drink of water. Am I thirsty? No. I hate morning breath.
9:15 a.m.-2:00 p.m - eat breakfast while sitting on the couch with my feet up watching the Today Show. Usually I turn it on too late to get the good stuff (real news, current events, interesting features, the Smucker's Birthday Club). Hota and Kathy just don't trip my trigger. Give up on finding something decent on TV and consider doing homework. Convince myself that I am not alert enough to devote 110% to my studies. Consider exercising. This works. Sometimes. About half the time. Ok, so maybe it's more like a third of the time, or perhaps a fourth. Needless to say, it's madatory to check facebook, my email, textsfromlatenight, and fmylife before any physical activity can take place. Shower. Eat. Reconsider doing homework. Check online to see what I HAVE for homework. Get distracted. Forget to leave for class on time.
I garauntee that is what has happened every Wednesday for the past month, and I don't see any dramatic changes in the near future.
I need a job.
